Funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Cleveland Education Compact facilitates

increased collaboration between the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and the

approximately 65 public charter schools in the Cleveland area. We are a registered 501(c)(3).

The Cleveland Education Compact is a document that creates a framework through which members collaborate as partners in our city-wide effort to improve education for all students. Members of the Compact believe families deserve better schools and a broader choice of excellent schools.

The structure of the Compact is designed to build relationships, share information, monitor progress, and set goals. The Board of Directors meets regularly to guide and oversee the development and communication of the Compact to ensure it success.

Our meeting opportunities engage individuals from our member organizations in topics such as professional development, student supports, and progress monitoring. We seek out speakers and resources that help foster collaborative conversations and action plans.

If your organization is interested in joining the Compact, please email Lindsey Blackburn at cleveland.compact@gmail.com
